So there's a Jehova's Witnesses convention in town for the past month now, and so every weekend the restaurant takes in huge waves of JWs with their convention badges on and their families with them. Here's what one JW said to me...

now i'm not sayin' that all JWs are unconsciously condescending in general, but this man most definitely doesn't help their case. I ain't your little buddy, buddy. I'm 23, I have a degree, and I'm pretty damn sure I could kick your ass to the ground, my friend.

me: really? (thinkin' I probably lost it when I came home after a night of goin out with friends)
me: dang, fuck, okay.
(starts looking for it around my messy ass room for 20 minutes)
me: you sure it's not in the car?
dad: go check (while in his room watching tv).
me: ok...
(checks both cars)
dad: find it? (while surfing the net)
me: (frustrated) no...maybe it's in brother's room.
(check's brother's room for 10 min)
me: not there...shit.
(I go back to my room and search high and low, under the covers, in my wardrobe, everywhere - this takes another 20 min)
...............
dad (from downstairs): found it.
me: where?
dad: it was in my jacket. hee hee.

If there are speed limits everywhere, making it so you can only drive a certain speed in specific locations, why do car companies make what we drive everyday capable of going 100+ miles per hour? What’s the extra 40-60mph for?
